Missy began her health care career in 1994 in the dietary department of a local Oregon hospital. Although she initially intended to pursue a culinary career, Missy explored other roles within the restaurant, health, hospital and hospitality environments prior to becoming a senior living executive director in 2001.
Missy honed her operations skillset when she accepted a promotion in 2004 to oversee multiple senior living communities in the state of Oregon. Finding her professional niche in the growing senior living environment, Missy advanced through three company transitions and became the Vice President of Operations where she provided operational oversight for of up to 62 assisted, independent and memory care communities within a four-state division.
A native of Oregon, Missy is well-known among the top talent in the industry, and she is well-versed in the regulatory environment. Missy is responsible for the operational oversight of the assisted living and memory care communities that Frontline manages within Oregon and the western region.
Missy earned an Administrator Certification in the state of Oregon, is a certified dietary supervisor and a licensed food protection professional. Missy is well-known for successfully leading senior living teams through difficult transitions such as bankruptcies, acquisitions and company mergers with minimal staffing turnover.
